# Errors with Conda installation of brian2 on a mac with M1 processor

@mzachariou as an update, we now seem to have a solution which enables cython and brian to work together on mac inside a conda environment! I think it’s only been tested on macs with an intel processor, but if you get the chance to try the [steps in the other thread](https://brian.discourse.group/t/problem-with-cython/360/18) and let us know whether it works, that would be great!
