A bit of a belated announcement: we have released Brian 2.7.0 and 2.7.1. The 2.7.0 release fixes a number of important bugs, gets our reference documentation back in shape, and introduces full compatiblity with numpy 2.0. The 2.7.1 release fixes a regression for custom pathways/events (see Reproducibility issue between brian2.5 and 2.7), and makes parsing of SWC files more robust.
Brian 2 can be installed with pip from the pypi repository , and via several other means (some of them might take a while to catch up to the latest release). See the installation instructions , and the badges in the README file for more details.
